Loucielago (Lou-say-lago): Queer dumpster fire fueled by delusion.

 

Aside from my main gig (showing hole at the waffle house), I make synth pop music for people who experience intense emotions

all. the. time.

 

Society shuns the ugly parts of what makes us human, but that's no way to live. I'm hellbent on pouring out my honest self in my music no matter how messy it gets - because people with extreme feelings of guilt, self-hatred, or grief don't need to feel more alienated than they already do.

I've spent more than half my life battling mental illness and suicidality, but I couldn't have made it this far without music. Hearing Lil Peep, Nirvana, and The 1975 sing so much of what I went through brought me immense comfort knowing I wasn't the only one. It stopped being Loucielago vs. the world - it became Loucielago and Kurt Cobain vs. the world.
